Terms of use

The terms of using this portal.

Short, in plain words. They describe what this platform is, who may use it, and what it never does.

Last updated 2 September 2026

1. What this platform is

This portal is a private record-keeping system run by Hirgal Oil Limited (“Hirgal”). It records the projects Hirgal runs with its partners, the money each partner put in, the results Hirgal declared, and the payments Hirgal made.

It records what happened. It does not move money.Money continues to move through Hirgal's bank and mobile-money arrangements exactly as it does today. The portal is the book that says what happened, with the date it happened.

2. Who may use it

Accounts are created by Hirgal. Nobody can sign themselves up. An account is issued to a named person who already holds a position with Hirgal, or to a member of Hirgal's team. If you do not have an account, contact your Hirgal representative.

You may sign in with the email Hirgal registered for you, or with a Google account that uses that same email. A Google account with any other email is not accepted.

3. What you see

A partner sees their own position and nobody else's: the money they put in, their share of each declared result, the payments made to them, and what is still owed to them — each with its date. This is enforced on Hirgal's servers for every request, not merely hidden on the screen.

Every figure on your screen is worked out from the recorded entries at the moment you open the page. No balance is kept anywhere that could drift from the records.

4. What the platform never shows

It never shows a promised, expected or forecast return. It shows results Hirgal has formally declared, and payments Hirgal has actually made. Nothing on this portal, or on this website, is an offer to invest or a promise about the future.

5. Published results and corrections

Once Hirgal publishes a result, it cannot be edited. If a figure has to change, Hirgal issues a dated correction that refers to the original, and both stay visible to you. A number you saw last month was not quietly altered.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Keep your password and your Google account to yourself.
  • Tell Hirgal at once if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Do not attempt to reach records that are not yours. Every attempt is logged with a name and a time.

7. The statement

You may print or save your statement at any time. It is generated from the records at the moment you open it and carries that date. Questions about a statement go to the address printed at its foot.

8. Availability

The portal needs an internet connection. Hirgal aims to keep it available at all times but cannot promise that it will never be unavailable. If it is, the records are unaffected: nothing is lost by the portal being offline, because nothing is stored in your browser.

9. Changes to these terms

If Hirgal changes these terms, the date at the top changes and account holders are told on their next sign-in. Continuing to use the portal after that means you accept the new terms.
